SWAY attendees at Singly
On Wednesday, January 11, Bay-Area tech enthusiasts, non-profit professionals, and social innovation enthusiasts joined m.o. Partners, Kari Hayden and Arynne Gilbert, at Singly for the quarterly event series entitled SWAY – the Social Way – which brings together people from some of the most cutting-edge social change conferences, such as TED, SXSW, Davos, and Renaissance Weekends.
SWAY is not a sector-specific event; in fact, each event focuses on a different industry’s angle on how social change is brought about. Wednesday night’s gathering was graciously hosted by the staff at Singly, a start-up tech company focused on innovation in personal data. Nearly 60 people were in attendance, where we saw firsthand the dedication of the staff and dedicated professionals at this start-up.

Foundation Rwanda Launches Strategic Campaign
Fall 2011 – New York-based non-profit organization Foundation Rwanda collaborated with m.o. Partners to create an organizational development plan, grant procurement, and a comprehensive marketing strategy for their 2011 Holiday Campaign: Color Rwanda with Hope.
m.o. Partners’ role was to support Foundation Rwanda’s mission to provide education for children born from rapes committed during the 1994 Rwandan genocide.
One campaign aspect included Foundation Rwanda’s December launch of a coloring book of drawings of the hopes and dreams of the children the Foundation sponsors. Watch the campaign video here, which was produced by Foundation Rwanda and Syrup Agency.
Foundation Rwanda’s Executive Director, Jules Shell, stated, “m.o. Partners’ campaign planning and foresight will be of vital use for our team year after year.”
