SWAY joins forces with Indiegogo and We Are All Radioactive – April 19!

Join us for m.o Partners’ quarterly SWAY event next Thursday, April 19. Each SWAY event focuses on a different industry’s angle on social change, so we are excited to partner with Lisa Katayama, director of acclaimed documentary, We Are All Radioactive. The event will feature a few minutes of the online crowdfunded episodic documentary about a group of surfers rallying to rebuild Japan after the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami. SWAY will be hosted at the offices of Indiegogo, the premier global funding platform.  Special cocktails our drink sponsor, Share Harmony.

Impact Investing Conference to feature Kiva, DonorsChoose, Grameen, and more! April 13th tickets going fast!

This Friday, Mills College in Oakland will host an annual conference on new and innovative trends in business. This year, they asked m.o. Partners to work with them to find high-level thought leaders in the social venture financing industry, as well as help develop an overarching conference strategy.

The conference, entitled, “Investing Within: Innovative Financing Strategies for Domestic Social Ventures,” features speakers from outstanding organizations such as Inner City Advisors, Revolution Foods, Investors Circle, and many more. There will be several panel discussions on B Corps, Microfinance, Social Venture Financing, and lunchtime discussions with other industry leaders.
